Right on your doorstep and in the heart of it all, just 10 minutes from the sea.

From morning strolls to sunset. Along the Kontxa promenade to the "Combs of Wind," the famous sculptures by Eduardo Chillida (he also has a sculpture in front of the Reichstag building in Berlin).

In between, the old town with its pintxos (the Basque equivalent of tapas), as well as three beaches and three mountains offering breathtaking views.

The 12-meter-high statue of Jesus Christ is one of the city's landmarks and definitely worth a visit.
